Whitman in Africa - Summer 2001

Professors Bob Carson (Geology) and U.J. Sofia (Astronomy) led a trip for students, alumni and parents to Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya and Tanzania to watch a total solar eclipse, and to explore the geology, ecology and biology of East Africa.
